Biotechnologist turned bioinformatician, probably a biologist. I have 5 years of experience in Academia (UCD, UCL). After that I spent one year as team leader, coordinating the creation of a cloud-based bioinformatics platform focused on NGS.
I am currently the main bioinformatician for Horizon Discovery, a Cambridge-based company specialised in CRISPR and other genome editing technologies. I am having fun with Whole Exome Sequencing and de novo genome assembly.
