I am the founding director of the 'Omics Data Analysis Core Facility at Duke University, which is located in the Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy. I have a PhD in Human Genetics and a MS in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh; throughout my graduate tenure I worked in the field sequence analysis, often utilizing data generated by high-throughput genomic technologies. I then spent the next four years as a postdoctoral associate at Duke, specializing in the analysis of next-generation sequencing data for a variety of different projects.
