My doctoral and post-doctoral training was as a cell biologist. I now work in the KI at MIT Bioinformatics and Computing core facility. My activities in the facility include: - working as a research scientist on the bioinformatics component of various KI research projects - providing bioinformatics training to KI researchers - supporting research computing activities in the KI by managing both compute and storage clusters - performing of managerial tasks associated with core operations such as management of staffing and activity tracking.
